Trincomalee is a natural deep-water harbour on the east coast, known for pristine beaches and cultural landmarks. It is home to Nilaveli and Uppuveli beaches, as well as the famous Koneswaram Temple overlooking the ocean. The waters are excellent for diving and snorkelling.
